“ITS A GIIRRLL 🙄!!” 

Paint the nursery pink, buy only pink clothes. On her first birthday, get her a pink Barbie and dress her in the prettiest pink puffy dress you can afford, like the princess she is. A princess that is raised to be a queen. Taught patriarchal lessons and values embedded in her that will shape her into the “ideal” Queen 👸🏾 she is destined to be. A queen who is “perfect” for a king. 

The cycle continues until the girl is born. She’s a KWEEN🏳️‍🌈; pink isn’t her color; color is nothing but shades; after all, RuPaul said, “we’re all born naked, and the rest is drag.” She doesn’t care about dolls; she wants cars!! She doesn’t need a king when she can build her own kweendom; she’s a kween in her own right. 

She reigns through the darkest days, ridiculed for refusing to conform to standards set for a princess, social media keyboard warriors trolling her day and night to bring her down to her knees, and persecute her for “sinful” affections. Suffocated by depression and anxiety for gazing and being lost in another kween’s eyes. It's a cold ❄️ world full of people with cold hearts 😭

It will take time, but soon as all she sees is black in a land of pink, that little girl raised a “princess” grown to be a kween will let it be known that... NOT ALL GIRLS ARE PINK; some have absorbed their darkness which has turned them into the force no one can mess with, into a kween that only loses focus for her Queen...
